Hi.... Its very hard to explain because its been fine for about 6 months.. up until now, but I think its a codec issue. what is happening while i'm watching video I get like a little stutter up on the top 1/4 of the screen. what it looks like is the picture up the top of the screen for a split second moves over to the left by about 1 cm.

now the reason I think its codec is. i've tried to play it in Media Player and it works fine.

I have k-lite codec pack.

Thanks in advance

If i had to take a guess i would say either cause they are using different codecs or different renderer. You can check that with Graphedit.

What you see is called tearing. Most of the time it is the result of wrong configuration, drivers, codecs and so many other things. You could try Reclock and see if this will improve your situation and read this thread: A guide to stutter free playback with Reclock

    Hope that helps.
