Summary:
Codec management for more video and audio formats. It expands the current ability to determine the used codecs for audio/video formats, now only possible for H264 and MPEG2.

Description:
At the moment it’s only possible to determine the used codec for MPEG2 and H264 and only, as I understand it at the moment, for those files that have the file extension .mpeg or .h264.
It would be great if more codecs for more video/audio formats could be determined within MP and that MP looks at the actual video/audio format within a container.
I think the main focus here should be on
xvid
divx
VC-1
And offcourse
MPEG2 and
H264
in advance!
