Codecs and picture quality (1 Viewer)

First of all, i´m not sure if this is the correct place for my question, so, sorry about that...

I´ve done a good old format c:
And for the first time i'm using the SAF, i used to operate MP with FFdshow and a few other codecs.

Is it just me or the picture quality in SD Xvid/Divx movies decreased with these pack of codecs? By the way, In HD .MKV i don't notice any change.

What about ask on SAF thread?
SAF 4.xx now use FFDshow to decode Xvid/Divx.

Where can i find that version? The one available at the oficial topic is still the 3.47 right?

Edit- found it. But was there a quality difference with the older version ?
