    Hello,

I'm having a little problem with codecs, not sure if it's MP, my system, or me...

I have a set of files using the rmvb codec. They play fine in stand alone players - RealPlayer and Windows Media - but they won't play in MediaPortal's internal player. In fact, they aren't even listing in the MyVideos display, just an empty folder.

I downloaded and installed a new codec and the RealAlternative pack to no avail.

Is there a way to manually associate the codec with MP? Or maybe some other trick that I could try?

Thanks in advance for any help and Thanks again for all the work by MP developers!

You need to ad the rm and rmvb (or whatever) details in the config app.
MP Config -> Movies -> Movie Extensions.
Then MP will see your Real Media files.h

Awesome! Thanks a million, I figured it was something relatively simple that I was overlooking.

    Thanks again!
