Pretty interested in creating a theme for MP2, but not exactly up to speed on the XAML/skin engine side of things.
I used to do a bit of HTML/CSS, but now my coding is pretty much basic/specific python for the program i use at work for broadcast/video wall type stuff.

Anyone interested in working together on a new theme?

If this isn't the right place for this mods, please move.

Any new skin idea is really welcome!

When we created the Reflexion skin, we splitted up the work in two parts: Furnibird provided the graphic layouts, images and great ideas, while I coded the xaml screens for it.

So if you come up with some nice ideas, I think we'll find some way to create a skin or theme from it. Also I like to encourage other skinners and (future-)xaml coders to dig into MP2

    Sweet.
If anyone is interested in helping hit me up here or on irc (p2pnetwork.net), i'm idle pretty much all the time and PMs go to my phone when I'm at work.
Will start on some ideas this week, but will be taking next week off of everything.

Great to see some MP2-skinning initiative from the community!

Perhaps a mock-up would help get ppl interested?

I am interested, do you just want to create a theme for an existing skin or a complete new skin? I skinned some stuff for MP1, but XAML is new to me, too. Coding would be the part I could contribute to.
So we would still need a designer.

Oh I'd be the designer, or at least partial designer. I'd love to get in on the code, but that's not my strong point.
I'd like to do a completely new theme, I don't want to step on any toes of MP1 themes.

I'll try to work on a few mockups, but i'll be on vacation next week.

Set up a team... NOW! Don't let this go down and start a conversation (great adition of the new forum) between filetree, ThaClown and MrCrabs with the help of morpheus. A new skin will bring more attention of new developers to MP2 and that way the program will grow up faster ;)

    Go, go, go!

Don't worry, I have no intention to let this die. Filetree is just on vacation this weekend, that's why nothing happened here any more.

I also tried some ideas in Photoshop this evening.

Its been a long time since i worked in Photoshop, but have some ideas for a simple design.

Do you think this is something that could be done in MP2?

I have no idea of coding but could provide some graphics and advice...
