Hi,
I have upgraded from RC3 to Rc4 and as part of that imported my existing channels and then re-scanned the DVB-S channels. Some of the frequencies of the channels that I had previously combined had changed and did not get updated. Instead a new entry with the same channel name was created. I then used the combine channel option to combine this with the existing (already combined entry).
But this seems to have created an entry that now has 3 "channels" associated with it. There is a DVB-T chanel (which is correct), and two DVB-S channels (The old one and the new one). The old one does not show in the Server admin gui, but if I look in the log file I can clearly see media portal attempting to tune to the "wrong" DVB-S settings (and it also lists 3 "channels" in the log)...
What is the best way to sort this out? Delete the combined channel and re-scan everything and then re-combine? Is there some other way? Any idea why the original channel did not get updated by the scan (This seemed to happen to both Channel 4 and Film 4).
Sorry no logs at the moment... My Network connection to my media PC literally went up in smoke last night (I use those power line network adapters, and one of them started smoking last night...).
Thanks
Andy
