Just wondering if development on this plugin was still ongoing ?

I have developped a plugin for Showshifter before that would parse an RSS feed, to obtain the URL of a comic, then download this image, scale it and display it on screen.

I'd be willing to help out with any development issues.

Not yet no! Havent even started looking into how to create plugins for MP!

Is there any source for these abandoned projects floating around, or am I best starting from scratch ?

Check out the development forum sections and download the sources for MP.
There you will also see the sources for the other plugins to get an idea.
Also there are devs to help on IRC.

I have integrated the CDisplay Comic Reader
( http://www.geocities.com/davidayton/CDisplay ) into myPrograms.
Runs fine, but maybe you have ideas for additional features / functionality.

I've got an initial version of My "My Cartoons" plugin working that I can make available. It uses a engine I wrote a while back which is based on (loosely) the original DailyStrips perl script.

It will probably only be released as source (you'll need to build it) as I haven't figured out how to build it ouside MP.

The cartoons currently supported are:
Garfield
Dilbert
Matt
Fred Basset
Herman
Overboard
Wizard of Id

But it shouldn't be too arduous to add others.

I was thinking, since yoy guys like cartoon so much pherhaps you know if there is a good way of watching digitalized cartoons on a crt tv?
My pictures plugin dont have a zoom so its to small.

its carl barks and don rosa cartoons.
