Commercial DVDs (1 Viewer)

I'm sorry for creating a new topic, but the old topics about this subject are... old. They relate to old versions where the 'removable' option didn't exist yet, or people had backed up their dvd on the HD etc.

Anyway, i was hoping someone had a way of adding commercial DVDs. So basically, DVDs that have multiple episodes on them, but with a menu etc. So there are only ifo and vob files and the episodes cannot be selected individually.
What I'm looking for is a way to add a series manually and mark the source as DVD. It'll just say "insert DVD", which is more than enough since the rest is on the dvd cover . Now, if that existed i think i would've found it, so is there any other way?
I can't believe i'm the only one with this problem/request?

I think one of the solutions was to extra the contents of the dvd and then manually assign each video file (1 per episode) to mytvseries

I don't understand your answer, can you expand a bit? What i have tried is inserting a DVD, and selecting all episodes manually from the ifo file. However, this doesn't work, as the only the last added episode points to the ifo (the link is forced unique it seems).
