Compiling TVService.exe (1 Viewer)

I'm trying to implement fix 0003736: Prevent duplicate recording logic is incorrect into the source for 1.2.2

Everything compile fine, but when I try to replace TVService.exe with my modded one the service will no longer start. I get the following error in the event log:

Do I have to compile the tvservice in some special way? I'm running win 7 pro x64 on both my dev machine & htpc
