Complex Plugins without any instruction (1 Viewer)

Can we (not MP experts/developers) get some directions on some of these advanced plugins, ie..

myFilms
MEDIAPORTAL - free media center - MyFilms v4.7.9a

I have been up and down the forum and I think it is too much to expect many to figure that one out with out some directions.

If you would like help setting up MyFilms, there is a sub-forum specially for that plug-in. You might be better off asking for help there. Also, the wiki for MyFilms is available here.

If you are new to MediaPortal though and just want to get things setup quickly, you may want to consider trying out Moving Pictures. It's another movies plug-in. It is pretty new so it has quite a few fewer features than MyFilms, but the setup is a breeze and adding/removing movies from your collection is as easy as moving a video file into or out of your watched folder.

Thanks for the response. Apparently I'm not familiar with the wikis versus the forums. It looks like i will be able to find lot of directions there. I'll also check out I'll moving pictures. Thanks for the suggestion.


Such an active forum with giving members is why this open source project survives.
