Composite input (1 Viewer)

ok so i am a complete noob here, so excuse any wrong doing!

I did a search but couldn't find anything on my topic.

Basically, I have the Hauppaunage drivers for my eyetv hybrid and its all recognised in xp. I am trying to hook up an xbox to the laptop, something that is very simple in eyetv on my mac, but something I am having great difficulty with in xp.

Basically, its all hooked up with the composite break out cable from the eyetv hybrid, and I know the connection works, as it works on my mac.

I can't find any program that wil allow me choose the composite input on the device. I can't find it in Media portal either.

Is there such a feature?

Hi, I'm also new to the M.P. thing.

I've got media Portal setup on the P.C., and have a few questions, and things not quite right. Sure its stuff I've done fiddling.

Going into the TVSERVER, and selecting the Analog tuner, I can then setup the Composite input on my Compro t750F card to record from my VHS player. I have the SVHS 1/2 and CVHS 1/2 (can't remember the name..) and while I can hear the audio, I can't see a picture. I have tried the various PAL-B/h NTSC.... options and some give me a different static on the preview window, or patchy black and white.... but no picture. Do I need to select atenna of cable? Also I noticed a VHS tick box, but whenever I select this box, and exit it is unselected when I return. Is this the issue?

I know the signal is there because I used the composite input with the delivered Compro DTV 3 software. But to use the compro remote with Compro2AW I uninstalled the Compro software. And don't wanna have tio use it again.

Has anyone managed to get Composite to work with MP 1.0.2?
