Hi,
My hdd is getting quite full and I would like to compress current (and future) recordings. I live in Finland and two of our channels uses DVB subtitles.
I tried to compress one recording into various formats with MCEbuddy. All went fine except the fact that those DVB subtitles was gone. I am aware that some formats don't support subtitles. Is there a format which would support them?
Other option would be to first extract subtitles from .ts file to a text file and then use it as external subtitle with compressed video.
Are these possible ways to do it? Or amI stuck with .ts files?
