Hi, Guys

I continue my MediaPortal journey. I initially had TV tuning problems and was helped out by a couple of fourm members - now fixed.

Then I had EPG challenges. The data from the card was not enough, so I have added webEPG - works well.

So I am now recording things, but they are all in DVR-MS format and I need them in a more accessible format, so I can record to DVD or wirelessley stream to my TV via a wireless media player.

I have installed the latest version of MyBurner, but realise that I first need to compress to mpeg.

I go to TV, Recorded TV and select an item for compression. It seems to join a queue and then says 'waiting'. What do I need to do to make this convert.

All help much appreciated.

Cheers

Andrew

Are you using the automatic setting, if so this starts 5 hours later, it was designed to run during the night when MP was idle.

Thanks Ray, you've fixed me up again!

How was I supposed to know the 5 hour delay rule?

Anyway, now I'm all set. I'm thinking of getting one of those D-Link Medialounge boxes to wirelessly stream what's on my PC into my lounge. Any experience of these - and which is a good 'un?

    Cheers

An alternative is to use AutoDVRconvert. It can convert while recording. It's rather easy to set up aswell.
