We really don't want to run a VGA cable thru the basement and then up again to the main floor throughout the house if we don't have to. He is also not the type to have another computer built just to sit by the TV which will only b used for media purposes like i do. I recently saw a Lynksys Media extender but it only seems to be compatible with Windows Vista Media Center.
