Dunno if this is the right place but I guess a mod will slap me on my fingers if not.
I discovered comskip not that long ago and got it working which is really a relief with all those commercial breaks lately.
In the process of upgrading between the various RC's and immediately to the final release, the skipping didn't work anymore from some point.
The .txt file is being created and contains the frames with the logo, so this far everything seems to be ok.
Just to be sure, this is how it's setup:
- on main system (client/server), I have 2 partitions and comskip v80_031 is in d:\program files\comskip
- in the tv server config applet, the full path to the executable is entered and testing on a file starts the process
- on both systems (1 client & client/server) I have checked the option in the configuration applet -> General -> 'Automatically skip commercials with comskip data available'
Nothing happens when watching a recording with commercials - that is: commercials are being shown.
Does anyone have a clue what might be wrong or what to look for?
TIA
