Hi Guys

I couldn't make my mind up where to post this (in here or under support > Installation and Configuration) so here goes!

I want to know exactly which files are used to save all the config for MP Client and TV server (including DB's).

I am getting myself back into VB programming and I have set myself a little challenge to create a backup app (yes I am fully aware one already exists) for personal use, if its any good I may even release it on here!!

Any input would be much appreciated.

Hi

Most MediaPortal settings are inside mediaportal.xml.
Not sure about TVServer, but I suspect it is inside the SQL database.
Other files stored across various directories. Peek inside mediaportaldirs.xml for more information.
