Hello,

I am trying to get my Technotrend C-1500 DVB-C card to work. When I start "configuration.exe", switch to "Capture Cards", select my Technotrend card (which shows up as "Hauppauge Nova-C"), go to autotune, select "dvbc symbolrate 6900.dvbc" for Kabel-BW in Germany the scan starts.

After finding 6 TV channels, configuration.exe crashes

Windows brings up the Message "This application has detected an error and needs to close"
-> when I look at what would be sent to Microsoft I have the following information, maybe it helps:

AppName: configuration.exe, AppVer 1.0.2336.43185
ModName: psisdecd.dll ModVer: 6.5.2600.2180
fDebug: 0 Offset: 0032425

Exception Code: 0xc0000005 Flags: 0x0000000

I am used 02.RC4 and have installed the latest SVN build

Got this resolved with this MS Patch

Hi,

I stepped over this post and the Patch listed below solved my problem

https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/viewtopic.php?t=8146

Even though I have just one DVB and one analog card in my PC this patch seems to be necessary. It updates the psisdecd.dll which caused the crash.

3th : DVB patch
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896626

Now I only need to find out why my encrypted channels get a "no signal" message ;-)

Hope it also might help others.

cheers
