Synopsis::

Keep getting an configuration.exe error everytime I come to the part in the setup wizard where I need to select/scan for channels.

From error.log:
08-03-2006 18:46:03 TVDatabase exception err:The type initializer for 'SQLite.NET.SQLiteClient' threw an exception. stack: at SQLite.NET.SQLiteClient..ctor(String dbName)
at MediaPortal.TV.Database.TVDatabase.Open()

Have you tried removing all the database files in the database folder?

i tried that after much reading on the forum here, but to my disapointness there wasnt any database files, not even the mediaportal.xml was there.

So I decided to redownload and reinstall... that didnt help..

Then I took it the hard way, complete reinstall of the machine, now the problem is fixed..

I got no idea why the install didnt "complete" the installation, maybe it was because I didnt use the "standard" location of mediaportal. Since in the complete reinstall of the hole computer I just selected the standard location, and it all works.

Well almost... the MSN plugin makes it crashs and will not login proberly to .Net Passport. (It just hangs at the loggin in screen)
