I can confirm this, i have only the nvidia codecs + MP default installed, but it show as your second picture lots of them...

mpeg2dec is installed but not shown under decoder filters

installed WinDVD7 after this test and it was displayed in config. mpeg2dec and MPEG/AC3/DTS/LPCM are missing

must be an "in between" build before the codec was renamed to MPV/MPA.
Works here..
