I have 2 systems running Mediaportal with the .6 release of Moving Pictures without any issues. On one system, I installed the .7 update. With MediaPortal launched and idle, this system is starting to see a Windows message stating that MediaPortal configuration has stopped and click Next to send a report to Microsoft (seen it 4 times so far).
When I went into Movies yesterday, I noticed that one of my shared drives had dupes of all of its movies. Reminded me of the issue that used to happen with removable usb drives. I closed down Mediaportal and opened Moving Pictures in the configurator to manually remove them. After deleting 3 or so, I got the Windows message again and the configurator crashed.
One thing about my setup is that my cable company has been losing internet connectivity recently. When this happens, my router gets hosed and I have to cycle it in order to get internet connectivity again. Could this be a cause of the crashes? Maybe when moving pictures does a movie lookup with no internet connection?
