Help please.
I have spent days trying to find out information on how to use HIP to interface to a Set top Box (Austar Satelite TV). A number of posts refer to a plugin called MPCmdEx.
1. I dont seem to be able to find this plugin does it still exist?
2. How do I get MP to talk to HIP?
I am using the original MCE drivers and removed System wide settings from HIP as I want to use the remote keyboard.
I have set the channels from the STB to external and entered the STB channel on the external tab. When I select an appropriate channel from the STB I get the video and audio from what ever channel the STB was last set to but the STB does not change channel because the Blaster IR buds do not flash.
I think I have HIP set up correctly. Certainly when I test from HIP I can get the buds to flash.
