    Hello Folks,

i got my iMON pad working flawlessly so now I am focussing on the buttons on the frontpanel. On my panel there are 7 buttons plus on volume-knob (wheel/button).
By default, those buttons are configured like this:

    + Applikation start
    + left
    + right
    + up
    + down
    + enter
    + backspace

    + Volume up/down / mute

Is there a way to remap those buttons?
I would be happy if the button labeled "Exit" would execute "ESC" rather than "backspace"
I would be even happier if I could make the volume button act like a mousewheel.
That way you could really navigate MP just with your frontpanel buttons.

If someone has ever done this or might have an idea, please share.

    Thanks a lot!

    Hello Simone,

you have helped me before to get my iMON pad working, thanks again!
I came across IRSS before and I understand that it's kind of your responsibility. I just read some threads including the IRSS "Wiki" and unfortunately I have not been able to figure out WHAT EXACTLY is the purpose of IRSS. What does it do afterall?

You see, I've got my system working fairly well right now and I am a little afraid of making big changes to my setup. "Server suite" kind of sounds "big"...
Maybe you could point me to some general information about IRSS? I did not find such a thread in the IRSS-forum so far.

Cheers and thanks for your lightspeed reply!

IRSS is a suite that handles all remotes and the idea is to make them work out of the box ( this is the actual case for many, and for sure for iMON ).

And it lets you remap the frontpanel-buttons as well?
That would be a quite unique feature!

I'll make an image and give it a try.

    Cheers

No, I did not. I did not find any option regarding frontpanel buttons.

Maybe someone acutally using IRSS with an iMON VFD with frontpanel buttons could clarify? Or maybe a developer could spread some light?

    Cheers,
