Hey, I am consistently impressed by MP's capabilities and have nothing but good things to say about it.
That said
, the internal MPEG2 decoder tends to stay in Blend during most of my video playback. For progressive sources this is okay or irrelevant, but when I have interlaced video I have no choice but to switch to Bob because the internal filter just doesn't.
Anyway, that may be fixable or not fixable-- I don't mind the decoder in its current state-- what I'm wondering about is if there's a way to configure the decoder filter settings internal to the standard MP GUI rather than going out and doing it in the external MP Configuration tool? Right now I have to exit MP in order to switch to Bob, and then do the same to switch back again to Auto or Blend.
Thanks,
AB
