I run a single seat installation with tvserver and mediaportal. I must use WebEPG to download program guide. Should I then enable "Wake up for EPG grabbing" in powerscheduler plugin in TV server? Or is it enough to enable the webepg plugin in mediaportal? (I want the pc to turn out ouf suspend in the middle of the night and download EPG and then go to sleep again)

I've just set up a Windows schedule to run WebEPG once a week, and ticked the "wake up to run task" box.

I've also added WebEPG to the processes list to stop PowerScheduler shutting the machine down in the middle of a grab.

    Hi Vattenmelon

An alternative is to use the WebEPG grabber plugin in the Process Plugins section in MediaPortal. This will run WebEPG at a preset time on whichever day(s) you want.

As Rob said, add WebEPG to the processes list to stop PowerScheduler shutting the machine down.

I used this to successfully wake my HTPC up at 04:00 each day, grab the EPG and then hibernate again.
