Not sure when this started happening but I am getting 20% CPU usage while MP is idle, just sitting at the basichome screen.

I thought it might have been xface as just started using this but get the same with any skin.

Using V0.2.3.0-RC2/SVN 16081

Running full debug logging but no repeating messages in any log

Is anyone else seeing this?

Thanks

Trevor

Thanks for the prompt reply, it was set at 60fps, which I have been running at for months now. I have set it to 25fps drops CPU to about 9%.

Maybe its me remebering wrong but sure I used to run a 1-2% at idle a month or so back, remeber checking to see when xmltv imports had finished.

CPU sits at only 4-5% watching HD these days so this just looked odd.

Has something changed in that area between RC1 and RC2?

    Thanks

have u tried disabling every plugin there is ?

just rename your plugins folder to plugins.offline or something.
maybe create an empty plugins folder...

What does CPU usage settle to now ?
If it is lower, then try to activate one plugin at a time 'till u find the sinner,

Already been there, was thinking a possible plugin issue, had disabled all the additional plugins before I did the 1st post but there are a few things I can still try.

Did all that, deleted the contents on the plugins folder - MP runs through a reinstall at that point and puts back the std ones...not differance to the CPU. Only thing thats makes a differance is the FPS setting.
