Thanks (y) Can you please describe what you're calling a MediaPortal crash in detail. I'd like to know what you do and what you observe from the point that you open MediaPortal onwards. I ask you to do this because I want to make sure I've understood the log files correctly. Currently what I'm seeing makes me think that it's your PC that is crashing, not MediaPortal. From the Windows system event log: "4/09/2016 8:08:22 PM";"EventLog";"(0)";"Error";"The previous system shutdown at 8:06:37 PM on 4/09/2016 was unexpected.";"2147489656" "4/09/2016 8:16:53 PM";"EventLog";"(0)";"Error";"The previous system shutdown at 8:15:15 PM on 4/09/2016 was unexpected.";"2147489656" "5/09/2016 6:08:32 AM";"EventLog";"(0)";"Error";"The previous system shutdown at 9:23:45 PM on 4/09/2016 was unexpected.";"2147489656" "5/09/2016 5:47:09 PM";"EventLog";"(0)";"Error";"The previous system shutdown at 8:38:26 AM on 5/09/2016 was unexpected.";"2147489656" "7/09/2016 8:25:24 AM";"EventLog";"(0)";"Error";"The previous system shutdown at 6:50:01 PM on 5/09/2016 was unexpected.";"2147489656" You say that you're not particularly tech savvy. Well, in simple terms: even a single one of the above entries is not a good sign. Your log file contains more than 100 since May 2015. In other words, to me it looks like something is seriously wrong with your computer... :(
