Control and MetaDate via IP / RS232 connection (1 Viewer)

Summary:

I use an AMX control system to control MP via RS232 but the data is only one way. It would be great if we could have a plug in to allow for control of MP via IP and also give feedback on the menus etc, which would mean a TV display wouldn't be needed to use the system.

If it could also send out the Track MetaDate then that would really be excellent.

Something like: http://www.autonomichome.com/documents/Media Center Edition Control Server.pdf does for MS Media Center.

Any ideas?

Have you had any luck with getting this to work. I am really interested in having wall touch panels connected to MP but have not had any luck. Could you share any information you have on this please.

Also is it possible to control the other client MP's in a network using the one touch panel or remote?
