hey all, I have a pc upstairs which i have hooked up to my tv downstairs via a 50' hdmi cable. The tv is hooked up as a 2nd monitor on my pc. Question: Is there an application or plugin that will allow me to control mediaportal from my laptop? Ideally, I'd like an application running on the laptop which sends keystrokes, as i type them, to mediaportal via tcp/ip. Like the laptop keyboard is acting as a remote control via tcp/ip. Mouse moves would be cool too but not necessary. I've tried a couple of remote desktop software but there's always bugs. Microsoft Remote Desktop disables the 2nd monitor when I log in, forcing a restart to get it back. NetSupport Manager freezes mkv videos to a single frame whenever I log out of the pc. Have not tried UltraVNC yet. I rather not have to resort to a bluetooth keyboard or other such workaround. I took a quick peek at eventghost and girder, but i figure i'd ask here first. thanks in advance.
