Correct ID3 Tag Editing (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I have just recently moved from Vista Media Centre and am so far very impressed. I do however have some issues with Editing ID3 tags so that my albums display correctly.

I am using 1.1.2 with the streamed MP skin.

The problem i have is when an album has various artists e.g. BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. In the tag editor i have put the artist as "various artists" and then album artist as who ever did the track. When i view these types of albums in album view (my preferred view) i get 20 of the same album, each with a single track inside?

What am i doing wrong it's driving me mad?!

You should do it the other way around. Album artist = various artists.

Album artist = "The artist who made the album", in this case various artist.

Thank you, that makes perfect sense when you explain it like this. I will sort it when i get home from work
