I think that worked quite good <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" /></p><p></p><p>Sorry for the wall of text, as you may have noticed I am a little passionate about this, :sorry:.</p><p></p><p>Regarding the channel switch gesture: I proposed two finger swipes left and right because up and down are already taken by the toolbar show/hide gesture ;-) I had another idea of maybe showing some sort of circular menu with more buttons on long tap, but that would negate the whole "you don't have to look at the device" principle.</p><p></p><p>So unless there is a better suggestion I think I will go with these modified/new gestures:</p><p>- one finger, one tap: ok</p><p>- one finger, two taps: back</p><p>- two fingers, one tap: play/pause</p><p>- two fingers, two taps: stop</p><p>- two fingers, left/right swipe: channel up, channel down</p><p></p><p>It's a bit sad because I think the dynamic one finger tap for ok and play/pause was somewhat clever, but giving that a separate gesture will solve other problems, like stopping music, too.</p></blockquote><p></p>
