i currently use WMC in an extended desktop configuration with my secondary monitor being my HTPC.
i have the following 2 problems.
1. WMC can only use the default sound device. so every time i start WMC i have to switch the default to SPDIF and then switch back on WMC shutdown. this of course means that some using the primary monitor cannot listen to music, watch youtube etc.
will MP allow me to set the output to SPDIF for just MP and not require me to change the default.
2. moving around within WMC requires focus. so if someone is using the primary, WMC doesn't respond to remote control commands. i have to set focus and then do whatever i need.
does MP have the same problem
