A change to the impawards.com site caused our scraper script to break. Hopefully the new version will be a little more solid. :p Sorry for the trouble folks. A new release of Moving Pictures including this script will be pushed out before long so if you are feeling patient and don't want to mess with updating your script, you can just wait for 0.6.5.

For instructions on how to update the script follow the guide here. Just keep in mind you're updating with the IMPAwards.xml file rather than IMDb.xml of course.

i have a few movies where no covers are found, although they can be found on IMPAwards.
Is the plugin "only" searching for the "title" ? Would it be possible to search for the "alternate title" too ?
In my case it's the movie "Vergiss mein nicht" (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind). The german title is not found on IMPAwards, but the english one is of course available.
The second problem is the movie "Die Welle". Searching for "Die Welle" gives me no results on IMPAwards, but searching for "Welle, die" (or just "Welle") gives me the right movie.
I got a new hdd and if i remember it correctly i already once had a cover for "die Welle" but after deleting all movies and reimporting them from the new hdd it's not working anymore (and i'm using 0.6.5 instead an older version)
Would it be possible to add a manual search string ?

Thanks
Joe

Sorry about the problems Joe. I think in the future we look look at some of your suggestions, particularly searching by alternate titles. This is a change we could make to the script without having to release a new version so maybe this weekend we can get something put together. As for using a custom search string for artwork lookup, I'm sorry but this is not something that is possible now, and would require a code change. SO I think it would not get included before 0.8 if we decided to do something like that.

@ fforde :
Thanks, searching for the alternative title would be great (and there should be no need for a manual search).
Maybe you could do a search for the title and if no results are returned (and the alternative title is different from the title) you do a second search for the alternative title.

Thanks for your great work, Moving Pictures is just amazing

Joe
