Hi Guys,

Whilst waiting (patiently) for MP2 I've been looking for ways to improve my MP experience and I stubbled upon Cover Art ( CoverArt Setup ).

Is there any way this can be done within MP as it looks really nice and I'm just looking for a few final things to complete how I'd like MP to look.

Thanks in advance.

You could do most of that with some tweaks to your skin (with the exception of the 3D stuff).

Once MovingPictures has generated the images it uses, it doesn't really touch them anymore, except to read/use them. So you could use that same CoverArt program to manipulate the pictures afterwards to achieve the look you seek.

However most of those effects I see used by the CoverArt program could be indirectly generated via skin effects. But you will have to find a skin expert to help you actually get that functional, or spend a lot of time learning to do it yourself :)

Sure you could modify your coverart images themselves but that is pretty heavy handed and inflexible... I don't recommend that approach. It would be fairly trivial to use the skin engine to overlay a case on top of an existing cover image. These days I believe you can even use a mask if you want to round the corners. Iceman89610 I recommend you stop by the skin forums and see if anyone can give you tips there. There are not too many skin designers around here.

Ok, Will do. Just wanted to make sure I understood how Moving Pictures would handle it. Not to put any of the skins down as they each have their own purpose and I do like them all, but none of them suits the specific way I'd like them too look and display things (and I have absolutely no idea how to design a skin).

Maybe I'm too picky but I have an image in mind of what I want the screen to look like on my system and MP, for me, is the perfect software to do it. Can't wait to see what MP2 can do.

    Anyway, thanks for the advice.
