Hi,
I have installed MP + TV-Server since my DVB-C card isn't recognized in the built in MP TV engine. When performing the channel search in MP's TV-Server, I started with automatic scanning but got no signal reception, then I tried to enter the transponder data manually (which I know) and perform a manual scan, but with no success either. I tried several frequencies and modulation schemes then windows crashed completely (reboot - not even bluescreen).
After reboot, now I cannot watch DVB anymore, regardless of the app I use:
-GlobeTV (the prog that came with the TV card) stays black
-Sceneo TV Central stays black
-ProgDVB stays black, but outputs an error message "Run DBA graph error" and then "Device not started" where the device is my DVB card
Before MP's installation crash, all above programs worked fine. What has gone wrong and how can I recover the system? Please help me.
Thank you.
-----------------------------------------------
Update:
Finally I managed to get through the channel search successfully: Now I can watch TV in MP
The reason for the error messages is MP's TV-Server, which seems to permanently lock the TV-Card. Once you stop the TVService, other progs can use the TV card again.
Maybe this behaviour could be improved in a future version?
