Hi, I have not used MP in several years, but started using it again, and I have a few problems and questions.

1. How do I move the playback position using the mouse, e.g. the way that WMP or MPC-HC would do it using a scroller bar?

2. How do I fast forward when playing of MKV/H264/ffdshow DXVA, when I fast forward, after few seconds, MP crashes in ffdshow?

3. How do I skip forward when playing of MKV/H264/ffdshow DXVA, the skip button appears to do nothing?

4. I use a regular user account without a password for playback, this way the remote can just press the ok button to log the user in. When I run MP configuration, it requires UAC elevation using an admin username/password, when I then set the auto-start option, it enables it for the account I used for elevation, not the account I logged in with.

5. During playback, Windows Update notifications appear on the screen, along with the taskbar. I have to click on the video to make the taskbar go away, how do I prevent this?

6. I find using the mouse to navigate the MP menu next to impossible, the menu keeps overshooting, but using the keyboard or remote is fine, is there a way to fix the mouse navigation?

Otherwise it works great.

Help and advice appreciated.

P.
