Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (5 Viewers)

Guys, I have found an issue with the Sky Grabber.

Not all channels are found as Sky have changed something.

I have already fixed it and will upload it later.

Does it also affect italian sky?

Not tested but I don't think so.

All they have done is duplicate a channel on the SDT so it comes round faster.

I'll check later.

If so I'll upload a fix.

Cheers for the fix DJBlu i noticed it only found about 400 channels the other day. All seams fine again now. Just a quick question re the schedule feature of the plugin. Is it supposed to wake the machine from sleep (S3) at the time schelduled to scan or does the machine need to be awake (S5). As its not waking my machine at the mo. Many Thanks

I forgot to mention,

It will only work if you have the powerscheduler plugin set to wake up the machine.

The plugin itself will not wake the machine, it mearly piggy backs the powerscheduler.

If you set the powerscheduler to wake 2 minutes before the EPG grabber it will work ok.

I am experiencing also problems waking for scheduled recordings after installing latest build with custom grabber...
I am not sure but I do think it started about that time, beacuse everything was working fine..
Anyone else having problems?

I used to have problems with recordings scheduled via series link if thats how you set yours to record, not sure if it was fixed/looked into and I haven't tested since but plan too shortly if/when I sort out my tbs card

Hi,
Does anyone else here used combined DVB-S & DVB-T channels? I have 4 tuners 2 DVB-S2 and two DVB-T2 and I combine channels like BBC HD, BBC One etc so that I can use the Sky epg for both and get series link for DVB-T. Pretty much everything works fine (though the combining channels can be a pain), except for when the channel tuning details change. What seems to happen then is that the epg grabber creates a new version of the moved channel rather than updating the data in the combined version. Does anyone else see this? Is there anyway to get the grabber to update the combined entries?

Not sure if it makes any difference or not but when I combine channels I tend to start with the DVB-T versions (as there are fewer of them) and then locate the matching DVB-S on, this means the DVB-S entry tends to be the second one in the channel, wonder if this makes any difference?

Hi Guys..

Getting Unknown Error when I try to view a channnel.. This is on a clean install of windows 7.

I installed MediaPortal v1.2.1 and do a scan.. Test its working with preview channel and it all works.. Install the pached Media and MediaPortal Tv Server v1.2.1 and do a scan that bit works but when I go to preview a get Unknown Error.??

I have just done a fresh install of 1.2.1 and your 28264 SVN, I have installed the data grabber and lastest sky plugin but I am getting the 'ErrorOccured - UnknowError' when hitting 'grab now'. I can upload logs if you require!
