For each movie I add to my library, I enjoy creating my own thumbnails (500x629) which consists of a frame displaying either the blu-ray or DVD logo, then artwork inside said frame. That aside, I am familiar with editing lines in the MP.xml files to tweak around the actual layout on the screen and displayed sizes/aspect ratios of images. But what I can't figure out is why, in filmstrip mode, the small thumbs show up with edges cropped off the left and right sides. To better explain: every thumbnail I have in the \MP\covers\thumbs directory is 175x220. When I look at these thumbs inside MP they show up as 141x197. I can change the aspect and size all I want, but the sides are always cropped off about 5% on each side. I can't find any line of code or indication for why my imported thumbs get the sides chopped off slightly. One other issue is with the zoom feature on the focused thumb in the same filmstrip view. The overlay frame/glass zooms to 120% (default) with the zoom-out focusing on the bottom of the image. The movie cover itself, however, zooms to 120% focused from the very center of the image. What this creates is a gap both above and below because the zooming focuses on different parts of each image (the overlay and the cover itself). Any help on these issues would be greatly appreciated! Thanks..
