    Yep fair point i just commented as i assumed the original poster was talking in terms of adding that option to mp1, although if you manually added a folder in said place would the installer touch it anyway ?

    I think (could be wrong) the installer renames the MediaPortal TV Server folder in ProgramData:

    Therefore, actually all config (MPIPTVSource.ini etc.) that is stored in that directory is affected.
    Currently there is special handling for replacing gentle.config (not relevant for TVE 3.5), but all other files are effectively "overwritten".

    If I'm correct, custom tuning detail files can be manually restored from the backup directory.
