Customising Hauppauge remote (1 Viewer)

Hi all

Long time reader, first time poster so let me start by saying a big thanks to all the developers here for producing some superb software.

Right, my problem is that when I click on the learn button in Media Portal configuration, it says that it cannot local the Hauppauge HCW.xml file. I have check and everything is where it should be.

Any ideas?

Had the same Problem...

Don't know why, but after 4-5 clicks the problem was solved. So just try to click and after some tries, MP wants you to select one of the 3 Hauppauge remotes in the Dropdown list. Now it works.

Sorry for my bad english... Was a hard night...

Edit:

I just looked up... I think, I first clicked "Start Learning" and then "Mapping"... try these 2 buttons few times (in no specific order) and it should work like I said

It works as it was, I am just trying to set it up to work outside of MP to a) start MP from Windows and b) enable me to send to sleep from Windows, not just Media Portal.
