I have been pondering about an idea of having mp storing common settings of mp and hardware settings to a database, where every new install of mp can check and recommend the best settings from other mp users setups with the same hardware.
Extended possibilities
Recording errors and fixes so maybe the most common mistakes users make can be easily be resolved by a click of a button (also could drop the number of false bug reports).
Even things like local TV station settings could be downloaded instead of scanned??
Log all errors from latest releases (more data for problem solving)
