deinterlace settings, wich one? In configuration.exe (1 Viewer)

There is a deinterlace setting under the tv and one under the Decoder Filters, Windvd7 deco..
Wich one takes precidence. Do they have different meaning?
Is there a "rule" on what to use when watching tv? Is Bob the best?
