Deinterlacing: Which takes priority - codec or MP setting? (1 Viewer)

So Im using NVidia Purevideo.

Ive set the deinterlacing setting for PureVideo to ON in the codec settings. But in the MP setting, in the TV section, ive left Deinterlacing as off.

Which setting does it look at?

I guess it does one or the other? and that it wont try and deinterlace twice if both are set to ON?

You did it the correct way. MP = off, Purevideo = on

This way you let Purevideo do all the hardware deinterlacing, it's not done in software then.

You will be happy to hear that my MP machine is pretty much finished and set-up now, so I wont post half as many questions anymore!!
