Everyone knows the Sandclock in Windows. Why don't we have something in this way in Mediaportal to show when it is busy?
During WAF-Test my girlfriend complained a lot about MP hanging. I had to explain all the time that MP did not hang, it was simply was busy and she ought to wait for it. Anyhow I seriously understand her complains.
For the ones who know Apple's Frontrow, it shows you a spinning wheel when the program is busy. Perfect!
Another issue that is very annoying is the fact that Mediaportal batches all commands during this busy phases. For example if I hit OK to open the TV module and MP gets busy it stops responding. Sometimes I simply do not really know if it really received the command so I press OK again. Most of the times it will batch this command and execute an OK while being inside the tv module. The same when getting into movies module.
So, could you please take a look on that? It would be great if I could see when MP is busy and it would be also good not to batch commands while MP is busy.
Thanks a lot!
