[solved] Demuxing rather than tuning (1 Viewer)

    In the UK if we could demux terrestrial rather than tune to a channel, you could have everything all the time and as much of it as you want. Somebody has achieved a Linux version...
    MediaPortal already does this and has done so for years. It will use one tuner per multiplex/frequency.

    Please can you tell me what cards do you use to receive your signal?
    Also is that done through the channel mapping?

    I have a whole range of cards. As Owlsroost said, it should work with [almost] any digital tuner. Really really (really) old tuners (USB 1.x) might have issues, but other than that... it should just work.

    Also is that done through the channel mapping?
    Nope. No configuration required.
    Note: mapping tells TV Server which channels each tuner can tune... which is important. If you haven't mapped channels correctly then TV Server may only use one of your tuners.
