I've ran mediaportal as a xvid/dvd player for quite some time now, and now I want to expand it
so I can also watch TV on it. I've successfully setup a server and client, as of now I'm just running
1 tuner, but in the future when I get everything the way I want, I hope to expand to more. I plan
on running 1 server and 3 clients. but I have a few issues I hope somebody can be so kind to help me with,
1. Since I'm deaf, teletext is a of major importance to me and its "partly" working,
first of all there seems to be a lag on the subs and sometimes parts of the texts dont
show. It can put sentenses. My GF has confirmed this. Is there any issues I need to be
aware of ?
2. Channel switching delay is 30secs. Is this normal?
3. compared to my dreambox 7020 the picture is very low quality, I'm running a
TerraTec Cinergy S2 PCI HD & CI card. Is it the card that is causing this?
Or is the quality not to be compared to a old dreambox 7020?
4. sometimes HD channels work, sometimes they dont. Solution for this?
