Different views (1 Viewer)

I want to get different views, depending on in what kind of folder i´m in...

At the default music folder i want the list view, in the artist folder with the albums, i want icon-view and in an album-folder i want a list-view again...


Is there some way to fix this?

In setup (configuration.exe):
Music -> Music views
--> create or modify as you please!

I prefer:
Artist - Album view
Album - Album view
Title - List

Is there no way to edit the regular "files" view? If i select artists, i just get the ones with ID3-tags =/

how should a regular file view look like?
if you have your files named in a nice fashion like "track - artist - album - title" or you have organised them like \Artist\Album\track - title or in a similar way, then it is very easy for a tool like GodFather to tag your files based on those criteria and then you would have a nice database view.

if you don't have organised your files in such a way and even have different naming styles, then a file/share based view won't help either.

Hi...

I have tried for a long time, but cant get it working.

Would like to enter music. All my albums listed as albums. When entering an album, all the track listed as list view.

My view look like this:

Artist - Albums
Title - List

But i stil got album view on files... What am i doing wrong.

Normally i am using "files view". Structure is: d:\music\metallica - St. anger\track01.mp3
