The 2.1 Release is a somewhat tested version that is forked off of the main SVN tree at a specific point, then has features manually added as seen fit and then goes through a bit of testing. Therefor it is more stable but is less up to date than regular SVN versions , which might not run at all but are bleeding edge.If you don't know what SVN versions are, simply don't use them and stick with what is released. Saves you headache in the long run.
