Digital Cable Scan w/HDHR Incorrectly identifies QAM as Analog (1 Viewer)

I am trying to configure MP1.0.2 with a HDHR box. The HDHR box can correctly identify clearQAM signals it finds on digital cable. The TVE2 channel scan finds many of these but lists them as not being mapped to any card. When I try to edit them, I find that TVE2 has incorrectly assigned them to be analog channels. I can't find a way to change this and I can't find a way to have it scan correctly (where it identifies them as being QAM on my digital cable tuner).

Is there some way to fix this? I have another system which I hacked and made work by arduously identifying each channel, one-at-a-time by watching them in the HDHR app (and then editing the MP channel list). Isn't there a way to make this work automatically? I spent about 2 solid weeks trying to get it work on my first installation. After a month's rest, I was willing to try again on a second system but it still seems broken.

The OS is XP Professional, SP3.

Thanks,
Dean

I don't remember 1.02 but in 1.1 there's a little checkbox at the top of the scan screen that says "tune QAM instead of ATSC - requires cable connection".

Thank you. I'll give that a try when I switch to 1.1. I was waiting for the release candidate before switching, but haven't seen any news about when that might be. I'm depending on my recordings now, so I'm hesitant to change before it's released and I have a safe backup.
