Nope, I don't think...
I actualy use winamp via the plugin to play music without exiting MP... even without seeing Winamp, but winamp is running in the background and receive commands from MP like the foobar plugin does...

if everything could be done within the program, that would be most effiecient.

Sorry but to make better than winamp, K!TV, Zoomplayer, Milkdrop... Frodo and MrMario64 are not enough... even if they are GOD ! (and THEY are )

the feature i am requesting is that by selecting a song, instead of playing it on demand, it would queue it up to play after the current song being played, and so on and so on.

this can take a long time... selecting a directory including the sub-directory's inside is more fast... I think a lot of peoples organise they music collection using the file system.

having winamp defeats the purpose of having a mediaportal.

For me media portal can be a portal to other (hided or not) free or GPL applications...
