DirectX 7 and TV Server (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm about to buy a new motherboard for my server. Because of the old socket 478 P4 CPU I can only find motherboards with DirectX 7. Can TVengine run on this or do I have to buy an additional graphics adapter with DirectX 9c?

IMHO DirectX9 is only needed to run MediaPortal on clientside. The server (if it's standalone) doesn't need it.

OK - that was what I hoped for. The server is standalone so that should not be a problem.
